Seller And Customer
Direct Trade Supplies is the online trading name of G & R Electrical Wholesalers LTD, registered in England and Wales No.2807157. Our registered address is at G & R Electrical Wholesalers LTD, Unit 4 Drakes Court, Eagle Road, Plympton, Plymouth PL4 5JY. VAT registration number 501518487. These terms and conditions (of which the Privacy Policy forms a part) apply to all orders which you, the customer place using this website, for items ordered on the Internet and over the telephone. These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of products made by Direct Trade Supplies hereafter referred to as the seller, to the buyer hereafter referred to as the Customer. Customer means the person or company to whom this document is addressed.
Your Agreement To Us
By placing an order on our website or by telephone you will be agreeing to our terms and conditions. By placing any order through our website or by telephone you also declare to us that you are over the age of 18 years. This is in line with UK contract Law. Please ensure that you fully read our terms and conditions before placing an order with us.
Order And Delivery Process
Please note our estimated dispatch at point of purchase is 1-4 working days (As stated in green text against all products listed on the website) When the order is placed before 13.00 hrs it will be on the same days schedule but if placed after then it will follow on to the next days schedule. Once the goods are dispatched we use two different methods to get you your order dependent on weight, size and how much you have paid for the delivery. These being a next working day courier service Via DPD (preferred) or Royal Mail 24 which is not a guaranteed next day but usually takes 1-2 days. We aim to get all orders out as quickly as possible but if you require a special service please call for assistance at which point prices may vary and will be non refundable in the case of a return of your order. Please be aware if paid by bank tansfer please allow an additional day for the funds to clear into our bank. We will notify you once payment has been recieved by us usually the next working day. 
 
All goods must be inspected on receipt and any damage must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt.

Delivery is free for all orders with a value of £100.00ex VAT or more also on selected items, orders below this amount will be subject to a delivery charge depending on the weight of the product. All products are subject to availability.
Failure To Deliver Or Failure To Deliver On Time.
Direct Trade Supplies can accept no responsibility whatsoever for circumstances arising from the failure of the carrier to deliver goods or to deliver by an agreed time. Where it can be proved that the carrier was at fault, the only compensation that can be paid will be the costs of the carriage. Please phone and check if the goods are needed by a certain time. We also cannot accept responsbility for goods being delivered to the wrong location.
Goods Out Of Stock
We aim to hold sufficient stock of all our product lines offered on this website to meet client demand for next day delivery. However, if we are out of stock of any item, this will normally be pointed out to you on receipt of your order and special arrangements made to meet your requirements (i.e. dispatch direct to you from the manufacturer or refund in full). We do advise checking stock with us before ordering. Direct Trade Supplies reserve the right to cancel any transaction.
The Passing Of Risk
The risk in the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery. Upon delivery "Leave in safe place" requests by the customer to the courier will mean that you become liable for the delivery and we will not take responsibility for missing or damaged parcels.
 
Bespoke/Cut to order 
Any items that have been bespoke made or cut to your order specification (i.e led tape) are non-refundable
Payment Information
You may pay for the items which you order online with most major credit cards and debit cards using our secure online checkout. You may also order and make payment by phone.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
All of our products are of the highest standard and offer true value for money. Should your order not arrive in perfect condition or you are unsatisfied with any part of our service, please inform us and we will refund or replace any item that does not meet your expectations. The seller reserves the right at any time to make changes to this website, including price or product changes, our terms and conditions, the Privacy Policy and such other policies as we may notify you of. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time you order from the seller's website.
Data Protection
We adopt a strict data protection policy at Direct Trade Supplies and ensure that your personal information is kept absolutely secure. We will not pass your information to anybody outside of our organisation unless required to do so by UK law. All personal information held about customers online is secured under our SSL certificate.
