The Apollo XP95 Locking Sounder Cap (White) (45681-292) is a protective cover designed to convert an Apollo sounder base into a standalone notification device. This cap is used in locations where an audible alarm is required but a smoke or heat detector is not necessary, providing a clean and secure finish to the fire alarm loop.
This white sounder cap is an ideal solution for stairwells, corridors, and storage rooms where localized notification is essential but detection is already covered by adjacent rooms. It offers electricians a simple, twist-lock installation that maintains the high-end aesthetic of the XP95 and Discovery ranges.
