The GJD334 Mini Opal is a sophisticated, ultra-compact external passive infrared detector designed for those who require elite perimeter protection with a clean, unobtrusive look. Finished in a modern White, this sensor is the perfect choice for mounting on white render, PVC-u conservatories, and contemporary commercial facades. Despite its small profile, the Mini Opal is a high-performance device, offering an impressive detection range of up to 30 metres.
Specifically designed to integrate with GJD’s range of security lighting controllers, the GJD334 ensures your property is illuminated the moment movement is detected. The unit features a fully adjustable internal bracket that allows for precise pan and tilt calibration, ensuring the 90-degree field of view is directed exactly where it is needed most. A UV-stabilised lens cover protects the internal components while masking the sensor’s orientation, keeping your specific detection zones hidden from potential intruders.
Built to endure the elements, the Mini Opal is constructed from high-impact ABS plastic and carries an IP55 weatherproof rating. The advanced signal processing within the GJD334 is tuned to minimize false alarms caused by environmental factors, making it an incredibly reliable solution for monitoring entrances, pathways, and residential perimeters. Its combination of aesthetic appeal and long-range sensing makes it a versatile favorite for modern security installations.
