The BG Electrical WP12-02 Nexus Storm switch is a robust, high-performance 20AX weatherproof light switch designed for safe and reliable outdoor use. Rated to IP66 for protection against water and dust ingress, this switch is ideal for gardens, garages, workshops and external lighting circuits where durability and weather resistance are essential.
This single gang, two way switch supports flexible circuit control, allowing a lighting circuit to be operated from two different locations. The rugged high impact housing is engineered for long term outdoor performance, while the wide rocker design provides easy operation even in wet or cold conditions.
The WP12-02 forms part of BG Electrical’s Nexus Storm range and features an IP66 rated enclosure that offers excellent resistance to rain, dust and outdoor debris. Its durable construction ensures a safe electricity supply in exposed environments, making it suitable for both domestic and light commercial installations.
Designed with installers in mind, the WP12-02 incorporates clearly marked terminals with backed out captive screws to simplify wiring. Cable entry is available from all four sides of the mounting box via removable blanking caps, allowing flexible installation layouts. An integrated one way LED indicator can be wired to illuminate when the switch is either on or off, providing clear visual status when required.
